Heroin Part 4 public domain video. Heroin: The Next Generation. Viewers will learn about the different types of heroin being peddled on the streets of America, how heroin affects the users and hear first person accounts about heroin use from former users. Find out how the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office broke a major heroin trafficking ring that was selling the drug to young people in the affluent suburb of Scottsdale, Arizona. What goes around comes around — and Heroin is back! But the face of yesterday’s junkie is not the face of the junkie of today. More young people than ever before are shooting it, snorting it — even smoking it. And they’re getting more bang for their buck when buying their heroin on the streets today. One reason: The purity of this drug is the highest at the street level than it’s ever been — that means users don’t have to use needles to inject the drug into their veins. The new ability to snort or smoke heroin is enticing more young people than ever before to give it a try. Back in the 60s and 70s, heroin users primarily injected the drug into their bloodstream. The next generation of heroin users do not have to use needles to get high on heroin. Smoking it or snorting it is more appealing to younger and first-time users by eliminating the fear of needles and syringe-associated diseases such as HIV, AIDS and hepatitis — not to mention the stigma associated with the stereotypical “junkie” who “shoots up” the drug. Another reason heroin use is on

“Dr. Peter Breggin Conscience Of Psychiatry” anagram-ciphers to “Find secret China-GP/DoD2 core by creepy string”.

  • TheOmegaeyes:

I’ve learned Dr. Briggins is the ONLY man I’ll listen to when it comes to these issues simply because he TELLS THE TRUTH!!!

  • LindaKay1948:

One thing Dr. Breggin doesn’t mention is that there are quite a number of people complaining about having sexual dysfunction years after taking and discontinuing SSRIs. Some of them are very young and were given these drugs before puberty. Some report feeling sexless due to genital anesthesia and say they want to die. I wonder if this may be at least a PART of the reason for the black box warnings on risk of suicide in people who have been put on antidepressants.

  • terratagONE:

I don’t know why people try to knock Breggin the guy is trying to save there lifes.

  • onesimplevoice:

Dr. Breggins professional life would have been much easier if he had just gone with the program and benefitted from the kickbacks psychiatrists receive from the pharma industry. Instead he made the choice to leave this world with a clean conscience and try to help people get to the source of their problems. Not suppress symptoms with drugs which actually creates more emotional and then physical damage as well. Our loss.

  • dianeticstu:

    Thank you Breggin

  • kilija383:

This guy has the right idea

  • perlirut:

    Most psychiatrists have depressing lives.

    :o)

  • Soulnik:

    Well said. ? ? ? ? ?

  • randy109:

Switching from Heroin to Methadone may very well save your life. While Methadone IS still an opiate and you will remain addicted, it IS truly different. On Methadone you are not using dirty, street drugs which are cut with “God knows what”. You are NOT using needles and sharing HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis. You are NOT giving funds to dealers and drug lords. You are NOT really getting “high” because Methadone doesn’t work that way. You, also, are NOT stealing and lying to get your daily dose!

  • njohnson2006:

    you’re retarded

  • yayocowboy:

how I hate ignorant people who talk about something they dont know alot about, every drug has its dangers,if you have some psychological problems or disorders,or have the potential to,halucinogenic can make you insane, heroin cant..

  • RockandRoller918:

People who struggle with Heroin addiction are Sick people not bad people.

  • njohnson2006:

it’s a harsh truth that drugs have existed in every society from early man, to mayan proest with natural psychdelics, to the native americans with peyote. Only problem now is technology increases, along with the purity of drugs in general and the war on drugs will continue as long as man walks the earth. Stick with plants and psychedlics, responsible mind expansion is the way. Dont put chemically altered substances into your body, just dont

  • artconva:

how many heroin addicts are in the US ?

  • ChoofMonster:

Part of the problem is the way the drug is distributed – one pill at a time, and if they miss a dose it can be fatal. Many accidents occur on the way to methadone clinics, usually due to poly-drug abuse or withdrawal issues.

Australia has been considering prescription heroin since our Prime Minister admitted his daughter’s addiction in 1984. It hasn’t happened yet, but addicts are afforded all sorts of assistance and fewer are dying these days thanks to Naltrexone.

  • watsonbluegold:

5-14 days are you serious you obviously know nothing about addiction and chemical dependancy. and the only reason methadone is killing people is because they are misusing it and often times used in conjuction with other medicine that are deadly combos

  • shantellew24:

i am trying to reshersh over weight herion addicts courts say they dont exsist

  • twolaneblacktop70:

i was in high school in the mid 70′s and was involved in drugs but 99% of the time it was just drinking and smoking weed, heroin was absolutely non-existant. i never saw it anywhere. i stopped on my own when i was 20, i hate to admit this but the music of the 60′s really made drugs seem attractive. i still like the music but the rest of the 60′s culture was a total failure we are paying for dearly now.

  • mavreix:

Methadome is the same as heroin! he admits it! There is no aid in this “treatment” it is the lie of drug companies. Just like every other pharmaceuticals. They band-aid a deeper problem. Drug addicts need love- they need someone to tell them that they matter, not a Drug!!! Im telling you dont buy into this “treatment”

  • LiTtLeMiSsSs:

    i agree with you !!

  • anasha2:

you know cigarettes are bad – still 30% of all people smoke. you know alcohol is bad (alchohol as a substance is MORE toxic for your body than heroin, this is a fact) – but people drink it. you know unprotected sex is very dangerous – people are still doing it.
    STUPIDIY IS HUMANLY!
Thats just the way it is. People make mistakes. And almost always the people who try heroin, are very sick already, they have mental disorders, depressions – and they try to cure themself with this drug.

  • 450LTR:

Well doing it a few times is different than being an addict and letting it control your life.

  • pinkology777:

A fraction of “dumb” people you discard as worthless:

    Curt Cobain
    Eric Clapton
    Janice Joplin
    Jimi Hendrix
    William Styron
    River Phoenix
    Charlie Parker
    Billie Holiday
    Keith Richards
    Johnny Thunders
    Robert Downey Jr
    Sigmund Freud (injected cocaine)

I hope no one you love ever says yes that first time.

  • 450LTR:

If dumb people want to do herion who cares let them live a shity life, they know herion is bad, its as easy as not doing it.

  • govlove:

you are wellcome but you don’t have to do thit. This is the true. The problem it’s really big and all people must know what’s going on…

  • rosaryfilms:

govlove, thank you very much for your comments!

  • ChoofMonster:

Heroin is legal as a painkiller in England (using the generic term ‘diamorphine’).

The issue used to be contaminants, not purity. And it was killing the most marginalized in society, not addicting the children of the elite.

Legalization would reduce domestic crime and the incentives for narco-terrorism.

  • govlove:

I think it will help a lot of parents to understund the problem and watch their kids. That was awsome.I think this is the best video to play all over the world in all TV channels.Good work…

  • ChoofMonster:

Long term “Methadone maintenance” for heroin addicts is a dangerous scam – 5-14 days is all it should take to detox using this potent and addictive opiate. It kills more of its users than street heroin, mostly from the withdrawal effects.

  • ClosetToker:

I have seen all four video.

    Nasty stuff!

I would like to know. What are the benefits to society in keeping this drug and others like it illegal?
