  • Thinking of your question:

Yes, if your willing to get help either way.

You have to work on having a program set for you. Learning how to cope with compulsive behavior.

it depends on the will and desire of the person attending. inpatient means no outs, you are there to follow rules and do the right thing no matter how hard it gets.

outpatient you must have a stronger will to say no and turn away from those who will be around you and make it difficult for you to stay on track.

The only difference between an in patient and out patient, is a chance to takke a break from the people you use with, and the situations you use in. Neither will work if you don’t wan’t it to, but a little escape from your situation, can make things slightly easier in the begining, but you have to remember there are people in there who aren’t serious, who you won’t be able to stand, and drugs available to you! So if you aren’t serious both is a waste of time, so don’t take up a bed an a residential, they are limited!

It depends. People fail both ways. People succeed both ways. It depends entirely on YOUR motavation. There is no such thing as a program or therapy that will magically solve all of your problmes without your working at it.

Personally, I avoided both and saved the money – I just quit myself.
