I am just sick of this “preaching” stuff. And, I think he needs to lay off about the prescription drugs. What about diabetics who have to take insulin to live? That isn’t an “addiction”. I think they have pushed the whole “straightedge” plot too far. I thought straightedge was a positive thing, like living clean and healthy. This whole plot has turned my stomach and I feel like it has given the concept a bad name. What do you think?
I just think this particular plotline has gone over the border into poor taste. Sure, pick on smoking, drinking and illegal drugs all you want, but some people do need prescriptions.
btw, I do realize that this is all scripted and I would hope that Punk isn’t that obnoxious in real life. Lita actually speaks highly of him and straightedge in her biography. He is just much better as a face, if you ask me. :D

Yes if they were going to make him spread his straighedge message in a positive way he should have been the Face during the Jeff Hardy/CM Punk Feud.
Quick reminder: This is Sports Entertainment. Not reality. Punk’s act is supposed to be over-the-top. Please try not to take what he says to heart. He is simply portraying a character on TV. In real life, the guy that plays CM Punk is a cool dude.
The true is,cm punk really follows being straightedge in true life.he is spreading it through entertainment so that the people can idolize him and make him a face but he is too boastful for being straight that is why people dont lyk him

I think it does. I’m not edge, but I think it makes straightedge people look bad. CM Punk is probably the most prominent straightedge person in America, and those kind of antics make straight edge people look bad.
