in a sense it is. like a disease, drug addictions slowly breakdown your body until it cant take it anymore and unfortunately as a result you could die. it’s different because with a drug addiction you continue to do what you do because of the ‘high’ you get from each hit you take unlike a traditional disease. Also, you have to power of choice to choose whether you want to beat your addiction or continue with it. if only a disease was that easy.

and to the chick above me who said homosexuality is a disease you are plain ridiculous. homosexuality is not a disease it’s a lifestyle and if someone chooses to live there life like that so be it. it ignorant statements and narrow minded thinking like yours that spread homophobia across the nation when there no different then you or i.

hArLeY qUiNn, Drug addiction can be hard to control. Many people have lost jobs, homes, family, friends, and loved ones because they could not break thier drug habit. I recommend you find some help. I found a site that has addiction information and a list of addiction treatment centers so you can help.
