Can I Make My Boyfriend Go to Rehab for His Drug Abuse?

my boyfriend who is 18 is a drug addicted who is addicted to pot and i want him to stop but i don’t know how to help him the best way i can think is to get him to go to rehab. i love him and don’t want to lose him and i know he wouldn’t do it around me but i want him to get clean so my parents and friends stop harping on my about him doing it and so i can stop worrying about him when hes out. should i advise him to go to rehab if so whats the best way to advise him to go with out being mean about it
