if a person would rather use marijuana rather than prescription amphetamines, the federal government will arrest you.

i don’t see how they can make any drug illegal, especially while alcohol is legal.

a common response is that “we’d have a bunch of heroin addicts, and marijuana smokers walking around”, or “do you want to fly on a plane with a pilot who’s stoned!?”

but, alcohol is legal and my pilot isn’t drunk, and i don’t see a bunch of drunk people walking around all over the place because its called drunk in public, and the same laws would apply for those drugs. instead of spending billions on making sure people don’t do drugs (which they do them anyway), we could spend that money on rehab centers for people that have drug problems. “it’s a tyrannical approach to a medical problem”.
