Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) November 20, 2009
Five-time NBA champion and basketball legend Dennis Rodman is lending his support to Fort Lauderdale couple Miles and Laura Brannan who are raffling off their million waterfront property. A portion of the raffle proceeds will benefit the Mission of St. Francis, a non-profit drug and alcohol treatment center. Having entered rehab this past summer at the Pasadena Recovery Center, Rodman is personally getting involved to help raise money for an organization that assists recovering addicts. www.rodmanraffle.org.
Rodman wants to help keep The Mission of St. Francis open for those in need. According to the five-time NBA Champion, “This is a very personal cause for me. I really love what the Mission of St. Francis is doing to help the addicted. I recently went to rehab, and I’m turning over a new leaf to make amends for my wild and crazy antics over all these years. I’m on a personal mission to help this raffle raise the money for the Mission of St. Francis.”
The Mission of St. Francis, a 40-year-old Fort Lauderdale based alcohol and drug treatment center, provides free treatment and other social services for the poor. They are proud to have helped over 10,000 people fight their addictions. The Mission is the oldest treatment center in Florida, and all operations have been funded solely by private donations. According to Miles Brannan, “The Mission of St. Francis is a wonderful organization that helps individuals suffering from addictions by providing them housing and helping them find jobs to get back on their feet.” www.rodmanraffle.org.
The Florida home that is being raffled has a spacious open floor plan that includes six bedrooms and six and 1/2 baths. The master suite is 1,000 square feet and has a second story balcony overlooking the waterway. The estate also has a theater room with a 120″ screen, four car garage, and beautiful winding staircase.
