Prison Minister Marty Angelo: “How Lindsay Lohan Could Have Avoided Lock Up”

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) August 2, 2010

Prison Minister Marty Angelo offered troubled actress Lindsay Lohan two opportunties in the past three years to avoid jail time if she would agree to enter and complete a 12-month faith-based residential treatment program. Lohan was due to be released from the L.A. County Jail after serving a reduced 90-day sentence.

“This was not about me serving Lindsay Lohan’s jail sentence (though I would have been willing to if the judge approved), ” Angelo stated, “But bringing to light the seriousness of what I feel Lohan needed in 2007 and still needed now.” Angelo continues. “Most of the programs I refer people to are free-of-charge and have upwards of an 85% proven success cure ratio. The basic secular program costs at least ,000-,000 for only one-month of treatment and is lucky to have 4% success.

Angelo met up with Dr. Drew Pinsky at Larry King Live television studios after Lohan’s sentencing on July 20th and they both agreed she needed at least one year of residential drug treatment to effectively deal with her many issues. However, Angelo insisted a faith-based program would be the key type of treatment and not just another stint in a secular program. “So far,” Angelo remarked, “Lindsay Lohan tried three unsuccessful attempts at basic secular rehab. It is time to move onto a proven program.”
