A report on acupuncture done at San Quentin during the 1990’s reflecting the importance of Chinese Medicine in the recovery from substance abuse. The Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice’s Supportive Living Program (SLP) is a licensed and certified residential treatment facility based on the social model of alcohol and drug treatment rehabilitation.
