I’m on the Same Boat I Have Some Drug Felonies and Would Like to Go to School to Be an RN?
Question by jmb21: I’m on the same boat I have some drug felonies and would like to go to school to be an RN?
My thing is I have truly learned from my actions I’m 33 years old now with nothing and I’m trying so hard to make something out of my life not just for me but also for my son; now I can’s fully understand how the government says you can’t do this and can’t do that how they are stopping people in out same situations from making something of there lives, just because I have some drug feloies should not mine I can’t go to school and earn an law degree or medical degree or any other type of degree, they tell you to maintain a good life when you get out, they tell you to do everything to stay focus to what is right for you, your family and your community and even how you could help out to make thing’s better for alot of other people but at the same times I’m being pushed to the side from making something of my life, whey can’t I have that same opportunity as the next man or women; yes I know I’ve maded alot of wrong choice but must I continue to pay for them over and over and over again, and see this is the problem to why people are getting out of jail and going right back to the drug dealing, the stealing, the robbing and whatever other wrongful thing’s they can do to earn money it’s because of our government keep looking pass us as if we should not have the freedom of living a normal life as everyone else can. I still can recall the President speech and him saying those words that runs thru my mind every-time I get to the point of depression ” Yes We Can ”
