I am just sick of this “preaching” stuff. And, I think he needs to lay off about the prescription drugs. What about diabetics who have to take insulin to live? That isn’t an “addiction”. I think they have pushed the whole “straightedge” plot too far. I thought straightedge was a positive thing, like living clean and healthy. This whole plot has turned my stomach and I feel like it has given the concept a bad name. What do you think?
I just think this particular plotline has gone over the border into poor taste. Sure, pick on smoking, drinking and illegal drugs all you want, but some people do need prescriptions.
btw, I do realize that this is all scripted and I would hope that Punk isn’t that obnoxious in real life. Lita actually speaks highly of him and straightedge in her biography. He is just much better as a face, if you ask me. :D
