I was friends with this guy and it turned out that he was not a good person. I met his mother only a couple of times. I found out he would put us on speakerphone so that his mother could listen in while we talked. Now he is locked up in a psych ward for “depression”, (he really just wants to get out of a court date for a DUI) and his mother has been calling me nonstop for the last four days. This is after she told me to never come near her or her son again. She even tracked down my work number somehow. She has been begging me to talk to him because he won’t take her calls. She also talks about how he does drugs and tells lies about her. They are both messed up. Sometimes she will leave a voicemail and other times she just calls and hangs up.
