Why Do People Do Drugs?

Question by London: Why do people do drugs?
Is it because they want to look cool? Or “stress”? “depression”? I just want to know why they do things like this. It’s ridiculous!
Cause theres this one kd in my class who does it and i asked him and he said that he does it becuase of stress and depression. I was like WTF!? why are you stressed out? Your my age and still in high school!!!! And then he said that the reason why hes stressed out is cuz his gf broke up with him. so i said its 1: stupid, 2: theres no reason for that, and 3: theres no such thing as “stress” or “depression”. Do you wanna know what stress is??? Stress is those 800 million ppl out there who are starving because the dont have food or water. Actually they dont have ANYTHING! Do you know how hard it is to live like that!? And YOUR telling me that YOUR “stressed” and “depressed” becuz of some lousy girl?? U should be grateful that you HAVE food, water, a roof over your head, etc. You’re taking your life for granted, and you say that you want to do fun things. well if you WANT to DO fun things then your wasting your time doing drugs.
