Thompson Studios Helps Struggling Teenagers Fight Drug Addiction

New Tampa, FL (PRWEB) June 13, 2007

Bob Thompson, award winning photographer and owner of Thompson Studios, has stepped up to the plate once again by providing his talent and expertise to help The Pink Star Foundation meet its goal with their online Pink Star Shoppe (www.pinkstarfoundation.com). By raising funds online, the Foundation is helping adolescents in this community, who are struggling with drug or alcohol addictions, to become clean with the help of scholarships to drug treatment facilities.

The Foundation has partnered with HDO Bath & Body and HDO Candles Inc. in an innovative approach to raise funds. HDO Bath & Body and HDO Candles have created a signature line of products in memory of Sarah Nicole, daughter of Julie Rinaldi, founder of the Pink Star Foundation.

“When I asked Bob if he would be interested in donating his time to shoot our product line, without hesitation, he said absolutely and was very excited to be helping our cause,” said Rinaldi. “He didn’t try to rush through the photographs – he took his time to capture the true spirit of the Pink Star products. Thanks to Bob, our Web site is up and running with professional photographs.”

Three years ago, Rinaldi took her daughter, Sarah Nicole, 14, to Thompson Studios for a portrait. Dressed in a pink hat, pink shirt, and jean skirt, with a small puppy tucked into a pink handbag, she reflected the pure essence of a typical teenager. Three years later, Sarah Nicole died of an accidental drug overdose.

The news not only devastated her mother, but also the New Tampa community. “Ever since I started this Foundation, businesses and people have been stepping up to help me however they can. I am so grateful to Thompson Studios for making our products looks so beautiful,” said Rinaldi.

Operating as Bob Thompson Photography since 1993, Thompson and his wife, Kim, renamed the business and moved their studio to the Cory Lake Professional Center in December 2003. They are an in-demand team and travel throughout the country and around the globe to take product and technology shots, architecture, corporate headquarters, executive portraits, etc. Their unique approach to capturing everyday sights and creating intriguing, innovative, and artistic images has captured the attention of top executives around the world.

Thompson Studios is located at 10329 Cross Creek Boulevard, Suite H, Tampa, Florida. Their online gallery can be viewed at www.thompsonstudiostampa.com.
