Mike shares his experience with the Attacking Anxiety and Depression program. Mike suffered from debilitating panic attacks and depression. “I was in the Marine Corps. I was self-medicating for my problems. I had a lot of issues, things I didn’t know how to deal with. I tried to stop self-medicating on my own and I couldn’t. I was a self-referral into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. It basically cost me my military career because it didn’t work out well. As a result of this program — after two suicide attempts, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, being hospitalized — now I’m drug and alcohol free.”
