There are several types of physical therapy jobs available for a physical therapist.  Physical therapy is also termed as Physiotherapy. A Physical therapist will practice in the areas of neurologic, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, pediatric and orthopedic. These kinds of treatments have had a very long history. It has been practiced since ancient days when started by Hippocrates in 460 BC. It was later followed by Galenus who followed after Hippocrates. In that period this treatment was done manually.
