Dave Touretzky is on a one man mission to damage the name of A Forever Recovery. For some reason He believes that Narconon StoneHawk changed its name to A Forever Recovery. He believes that A Forever Recovery is really a Narconon Drug Rehab Program. If you understand Narconon and what they teach you will clearly see that A Forever Recovery does not teach the same ways to addiction recovery.

To be considered a Narconon Drug Rehab Program the Program must teach these in their drug rehab program.

“Narconon International works extensively with new groups to implement the Narconon program and establish centers. This can range from a medical doctor utilizing the Narconon drug-free withdrawal methods, to the implementation of the Narconon program in an existing facility, to the establishment of full Narconon prevention center or residential rehabilitation center.” (narconon.org)

A Forever Recovery does not follow the Narconon Program.  What they do offer is multiple tracks to addiction recovery.  This program is unique and one of the few drug rehab programs that allow the students to chose what they feel most comfortable with. What they believe is that all people are different therefore no one addiction treatment will suffice for every person.
