Harlem Wizards Take on Good Samaritan Hospital All-Stars on February 25

Suffern, NY (PRWEB) February 2, 2006

The Harlem Wizards professional entertainment basketball team will perform in Suffern on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 PM at Suffern High School. The performance will include a game against the Good Samaritan Hospital All-Stars, chosen from the hospital’s staff. The performance promises family fun for all, and will include comedy, basketball tricks and audience participation.

Wizard team members include former NBA and CBA players, and college standouts. Team members specialize in “trick hoops and alley-oops,” including comic antics, trickery, dazzling ball handling and rim rocking slam-dunks. The Wizards will sign autographs after the performance.

As part of the Wizards dynamic appearance, select Wizard players will visit Good Samaritan Hospital on February 9 to support the event. The players will tour the hospital and meet with and sign autographs for a number of patients. Good Samaritan Hospital will host their tour as a precursor to the highly anticipated charity game.

The Harlem Wizards was founded in 1962 by New York-based sports promoter and manager Howie Davis. The team has delighted audiences worldwide, and has played in over 5,000 games in the United States and abroad.

Tickets are available for advance purchase at $ 12 for adults and $ 10 for students or seniors by phoning (845) 368-5214. Tickets are available at the door at $ 14 for adults and $ 12 for students or seniors. The event will benefit Good Samaritan’s Chemical Dependency Unit.
