My beautiful daughter is going to be 40 years old next month and is a crack addict. She has been in rehab once but has gone back to the drug. She refuses to get help and has deserted her 2 beautiful children. She has lost everything and has hit rock bottom several times. My family and I refuse to be enablers anymore and because of that she does not contact any of us anymore. We have offered to help her get help but she is in total denial that she needs it. She is our first child–adopted which makes her even more special. She admits that her childhood was wonderful. She thought she was a princess and she was, to us! I think the fact that she has turned her back on her children and her family who love her unconditionally is what hurts the most. But through my faith in God, I have put her in His hands and do not dwell on it. I pray every time the phone rings it is not bad news about her. I also feel that “nature vs nurture” is very evident in this. What do you think?

Look into something called iboga. It’s known to cure heroin addiction, she may be into it.
