Q&A: Parents Smoking Marijuana?

Hello, Ok i know this is really long, but I really need some answers and opinions to this. Its been something that my friend has wanted to know for a long long time but has never asked, when she tryed google-ing it, there were just questions about parents who have they’re weed all over the place and even smoke in front of their kids! -Which is something that would never cross their minds..

What do you think of parents who smoke marijuana?
Ill put this up as clearly as possible.

1. The child doesn’t know, they have a secret stash box hidden in their bedroom. (No leftovers here and there, or bongs or anything related to marijuana and smoking it.)

2. Never smoke in front of the child, and are never under the influence of marijuana while they are with the child.

3. They take good care of they’re child, it gets food, love and a healthy home. The child is very healthy and normal. The home is also very beautiful, they are not rich, but the home never trashy or dirty (except maybe whats considered to be normal for a home with a child :) ).

4. The parents smoke every day, but only after the child has gone to sleep. And if the child has been ill, they pass on the smoke that evening, in case they need to go be with her. The child btw sleeps very tight and theres never been a bedtime problem.

5. The parents no longer get really high, like you do when you first start smoking, its more just relaxing for them, it doesnt disturb them from doing the right thing if anything comes up, they dont get slow or anything anymore, they are just like normally, just a bit more relaxed. Nobody notices when they are high, if they happen to meet someone while they are. (which has only happened rarly though).

6. This does not make them any lazier with their everyday life, they still go to work and take good care of they´re home and each other.

7. Nobody knows this about them, yet its been going on for a very long time. Everyone thinks they are great parents and would never guess that in the evening they like to light themself a joint and relax after a hard day.

8. They have never been caught, they have always bought from the same person, who would never tell on them, they never smoke around other people and dont talk about this to other people (For example because of the way some people think of marijuana). They always smoke in the evening when the child is asleep and perfectly okay.

9. Please dont answer if you dont know the facts about marijuana, I dont want to hear any made up “facts” about the ‘danger’ of marijuana. The only danger I know so far is that its illegal. These parents play it very safe though.

10. They dont plan on telling they’re kid and they are very good in keeping it that way, they dont act like they have anything to hide and they dont talk about these things around the kid ever. They dont plan on telling the kid its ok to just smoke weed or smoke with it when its old enough, thats something that would never even cross they’re minds! -When the kid gets to the right age they may not tell the kid marijuana is bad for your health, because they would be lying, but they will say that its only for grown ups, and people who know how to treat and use it. Just like with Alcohol. Other things (drugs) will be completely off limits, they dont even consider using other things. They also hardly ever drink, the mom goes out with her friends once a month for a night out, every other time they have a drink and some fun. Same with the dad. They dont have any alcohol at their home.

Ok thats it, hope im not forgetting anything.
Ps, im not one of the parent but I am the moms best friend, Im the only one that knows about this and I know for a fact that nobody else knows nor suspects them. They are 33 and 34 years old.

I dont want you to answer everything seperatly, just want someone to read this over and then give me an answer.

– I sayd, dont answer unless you know the facts about marijuana :) It clearly seems to me that you dont, what you just sayd is probably 100% right about cigarettes and alcohol, yet they are legal. Do your research before you post something that you say is a fact. Sorry not trying to be mean.

All the variables you listed and situations that can just go wrong are EXACTLY why I am anti-drugs. Marijuana included.

How about you be responsible and not smoke something that is illegal?
