The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, located in Tempe, AZ, recently announced the upcoming date of the second annual 2010 Tournament of Champions, a golf tournament held by the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and the Sage Foundation for Health to raise money for healthcare for Arizonas uninsured and underinsured residents.
Through the Sage Foundation for Health, an average of 34,100 individuals receives medical care from one of the eight total clinics located in Arizona. Physicians from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine practice medicine at these clinics and reach out to their local communities by providing health care services to underprivileged individuals.

The 2010 Tournament of Champions will be held at the Legacy Golf Resort on Friday, March 26th, 2010. The Legacy Golf Resort is located in Phoenix on 32nd Street and Baseline Rd. The Legacy Golf Resort was once a 7,500 acre ranch owned by Dwight B Heard and has been named one of the Top 10 Golf Courses to Play in Phoenix by Golf Digest.
Tee time for the 2010 Tournament of Champions begins at 12:30 pm. Registration information can be found by going to www.golfinvite.com/sagetournament. There will be four hole-in-one prizes, including a 2010 BMW 3 Series Sedan. The entry fee for a tournament player is 5, while students and alumni of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine can register for 0. This fee includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, range balls, scoring, and a BBQ post-event awards dinner.

All proceeds from the 2010 Tournament of Champions go directly to providing medical care at the eight local participating clinics. These are the current clinics providing medical care through the Sage Foundation for Health.

2. Guadalupe Family Health Center: A clinic providing family medicine to low income families.
3. Hamilton Elementary School District: A clinic providing pediatric and adult health care to low income families in the Murphy School District.
4. Mission of Mercy: A mobile medical clinic that travels to several locations throughout the Valley to provide health care for the uninsured, working poor, and the homeless.
5. Royal Assisted Living: A treatment center that focuses on holistic treatments for drug and alcohol addiction.
6. Sojourner Center: A shelter for women and children affected by domestic violence.
7. Southwest Center for HIV-AIDS: A clinic dedicated to treating the HIV/AIDS disease.
8. World Addiction & Health Institute: A rehabilitation center focusing on drug and alcohol recovery.
