“The vital work of the Family Support and Treatment Center continues only through the generosity born in the human heart,” stated Joy O’Banion, Director of the Family Support & Treatment Center. “More than 20 percent of the Center’s funding comes from private donors. We are thrilled with the great support of this year’s event sponsors and look forward to helping many more families as a result of this effort.”

Since 1984 the Family Support & Treatment Center of Orem has provided critical support services to tens of thousands of children, adults and families in crisis. In fiscal year 2004-05 the Center logged more than 31,000 hours in services including Crisis Respite Nursery, Parenting Classes, Adult and Child Therapy. The Crisis Nursery alone served almost a thousand Utah children and preventive education programs reached more than 12,000 Utah County students.
