Ryan’s Story


Ryan came to Turning Point’s Utah rehab center in 2008, and was suffering from alcohol addiction. Ryan was drinking heavily on a daily basis, and felt that his life didn’t have any meaning. Luckily, Ryan had a friend who referred him to Turning Point Centers (his friend was a previous patient). Not only was Ryan’s dual-diagnosis treatment a success, he is now a substance abuse counselor and helps others overcome their addictions! He’s also pursuing a master’s degree as a mental health counselor. “Life is so much better today. I have goals. I have dreams. I see a future ahead now,” he said.
