Why Don’t I Get Callouses, Corns, Bunions, Toenail Fungi, Etc., Like My Parents Would Get?
Question by Eddie Cacciatore, Private Eye: Why don’t I get callouses, corns, bunions, toenail fungi, etc., like my parents would get?
I’m 40 and have feet like a baby’s. But I remember when they were my age they’d always be scraping and grating and whatever down there. While I do mostly work at a desk, I have literally jogged thousands of miles. They did none of that.

Because you take care of yourself and in years gone by a lot of people didn’t bother with shoes, especially around the house, so I suppose that could be the reason ~ after all ~ putting food on the table for you family back then was more important :)
