How to Counteract Cough Medicine Sleepiness?
Question by Dennis: How to counteract cough medicine sleepiness?

You can’t and you shouldn’t.
Taking a stimulant while on cough medicine will only make things worse because Cough Medicine causes your blood pressure to rise and so do stimulants.
You need to find a form of cough medicine for “day time use”.
If you mean this as in “Getting High” and staying awake to see the hallucinations, that too is something you can’t really do…
The only thing to do then is to have a “Sitter” there to wake you up and keep you talking and focused.
Abusing Cough Medicine can kill you…

“Taking huge doses of cough medicine to get high may sound revolting. In fact, you might assume it’s just an obscure fringe thing.
But it’s not. A 2008 study found that one in 10 American teenagers has abused products with DXM to get high, making it more popular in that age group than cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, and meth. Although DXM products are quite safe when taken as recommended, high doses can cause hallucinogenic trips — and pose serious risks.”
