Is this question for yourself or someone you care about. I think it really deends on whether alcohol is controlling their life rather than them having a drink every day or so, depends on the persons behaviour and how they react with no alcohol, and the liits to which they drink and would go to for a drink. Check out alcoholics annymous, they have alot of info for families as well.
