Question by Kim: Social conservatives, can you explain how your philosophy works?
I just don’t understand how social conservatives justify telling other people what they can and can’t do if it doesn’t hurt anybody else. What’s the logic behind it? Please don’t bring religion in to it, as Congress can’t make laws regarding an establishment of religion, and hence it isn’t a proper basis for laws.

Well, once you cut out religion the entire social conservative philosophy falls flat on its face. Basically, social conservatives just want to maintain the status quota.
