How Do You Deal With PTSD?
Question by Mike: How do you deal with PTSD?
I was discharged after the first Gulf War due to physical injuries and PTSD. I see the VA counselor every week, but it doesn’t seem to helping, and I think it’s actually getting worse. People don’t understand so I can’t talk to anyone, and it has gotten to the point that I rarely sleep. I go to sleep between four and five in the morning and wake up between eight and nine. Does anyone suffering from, or with experience dealing with PTSD have any ideas for coping with the nightmares and intrusive thoughts? Is there hope? Thanks for your help.

Have you tried out decent sleeping pills? Try the SleepComplex from NSI. You won’t need prescription and it’s not expensive. For long term usage without side effects you could try HealthySleep from NSI also. I get them from VitaCost.
I’m really strong emotionally, but I had some episodes of PTSD when my 2 months daughter was interned in the hospital, because she cried too hard and too long. She still cries that way because, I think she became traumatized, but she sleeps well. She does not have insomnia like me.
