How do I do this? I’m really interested in studying the behavior of dual diagnosis patients and I would like to know how they are being treated.

I don’t really think that you’ll be allowed inside an addiction treatment center. Their rules regarding the privacy of their patients are really stringent. Maybe you can settle for just asking the therapists and counselors regarding the treatment methods that they employ for their patients who are suffering from dual diagnosis.
