Mindy McCready Hospitalized for Possible Drug Overdose
Mindy McCready was being treated for an apparent drug overdose after being taken to the emergency room of a Florida hospital Tuesday morning (May 25), according to the The News-Press in Fort Myers, Fla. McCready’s publicist issued a press release confirming the singer’s treatment at the Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral, Fla., but said, “The diagnosis has not yet been confirmed.”
