Can’t Look at My Boss in the Same Way,My Boss Said a Hooker?

Hi, Im a withdraw specialist at a rehab. The program lasts 3 months. Anywho when a “student” has completed the program they have a graduation for them. So this guy (we will call him mike) was going to graduate in 2 days. He went to my boss and asked if he could go to a hotel instead of staying at the center for the last 2 days. And that he would return during the day but at night go back to the hotel. My boss asked me how I felt about this. I said it doesnt sound like a good idea to me. But of course my boss let him go. She asked me to drive him to the hotel then come back to the center. So I did what she asked. when i droppped him off at the hotel I noticed that he went in the lobby but never went to the counter… I waited for a min then my boss called me and said I need you here asap so i left to go back to the center. When i got back I was feeling very uneasy about his actions. So i went 2 my boss and explained the situation to her. I told her that I thought he was going to go out and use for drugs. and that i was worried..There was a huge pause and then she started laughing and said that He “was probably going to he a hooker”! I was shell shocked by what she said..At this point i wasnt sure what to think except that my boss had lost her mind.?!!. (getting a hooker is not, i repeat not what i thought) However she didnt want to hear my thoughts on what I thought was happening with mike. The next day he came to the center and I drug tested him. Long story short he came up postive for drugs. Then there was a meeting about him. And the center decided to make him leave the premises asap. And that he would NOT be graduationg.
My issue is that I told my boss this be4 it even happened. And she laughed at me.. This has made it really hard for me to focus at work since then. and I dont have any respect for my boss anymore. In fact I can’t stand her. How could she say OK for him to go to a hotel? and how could she even say anything about a hooker.. (like it is ok to get a hooker) what is she mad?! I think the biggest issue that i have with this saga is that noone has come up to me and said” you know you were right or i should have listened to you more. etc. NO nothing. I mean geeze im a withdraw specialist this is my job to detect when people are going to use drugs. Im like programmed to see this kind of stuff. Im feeling like my job is not worth the agervation of this anymore. this is a rehab for gosh sakes we are suppose to be here to help people over come there drugs and alcohol addictions. not put them in a hotel so that they can go out and do drugs….

She is the highest on the chain. It is her business. she is the owner of the facility. her and her husband. I did say something to him about it as well and he said the same as her. I dont know what is wrong with these people but getting a hooker is not normal.
I firmly belive that they are not doing alot of things right. geeze half of the staff goes out and uses and calls me to cover there @sses. Ive had enough you are right im getting my paper work together and im going to be looking for other employment. thanks
