Friday September 10, 2010 MONTPELIER — U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder says prescription drug abuse in America is at epidemic proportions, and that taming it will take more than law enforcement. Trends in teen drug use
The National Institute on Drug Abuse has funded the Monitoring the Future survey every year since 1975. The survey measures drug, alcohol and cigarette use and related attitudes among teens. Students are divided into three age groups (eighth, 10th and 12th graders). Here is a sampling of the 2009 results:
