My boyfriend is looking into detox centers in Wisconsin. He has a drinking problem and its now causing bad anxiety. Anyways… we’re wondering how much they generally cost and what the procedure is? I tried calling a few places but haven’t recieved a call back yet. Any information would be helpful, we basically know nothing about this but we know he needs help.

Your best bet is to show up on their doorstep. More than likely, they will not turn you away. If you are waiting for a phone call, you may be waiting a while because there are not enough beds in these centers for everyone who needs them. Tellurian in Madison, Winnebago in Oshkosh, and Rogers in Milwaukee all do detox. Going to an ER is the fastest way to get him into the system and get treatment.
