Who is Britney Spears? Is there any person here on earth who does not know her? Or is there anyone who has not heard of this name? Doubtly, Britney Spears is a person who is larger than life and a holder of a phenomenal success record in the music industry. Britney Spears brought the true meaning of how inappropriate drugs and alcohol used could lead an individual to.

According to TIME Magazine, Spears had sold more than 76 million records all over the world. Ranked as the number 8 best-selling female artists in America when she sold 31 million albums in the United States alone is record-breaking. Further, Spears is considered as one of the richest young pop singers in the world.

Unfortunately, the sudden twist of life’s event brought dilemma in Spears’ life. Her marriage with Kevin Federline was too sudden and yet too abrupt for an ending. Her marriage with Federline brought them two sons. Following to the recent break up of the couples, Spears is being spotted partying to the wee hours of the morning. Her larger than life personality has been the favorite topics in the media. What’s worst is that she is not just partying heavily but she has been drinking too much and uses non-prescription drugs. Her skyrocketing career is now threatened and so does her custody fight with estranged-husband Federline.

Her battle with substance and alcohol addiction lead Spears to multiple rehabilitation sessions. Unfortunately, the young mother-of-two and pop artist appears to be not learning her lessons seriously as she continues her partying and leaving her sons to the care of her helpers and relatives. Spears’ lifestyle revolved around the use of alcohol and drugs, although she made a great effort of her comeback in the industry. For one, she was able to tone her figure considering her two pregnancies. Regrettably, her life is heading to another direction while she enjoys partying, alcohol and substance consistently. Her behavior is highly criticized and millions of fans were disappointed on how Britney’s erratic behavior pulled her star status in less than 3 years.

Just recently, Spears made a comeback presentation during the MTV Music Video Award. It was a mishap that her fans and critiques could not help but understand the possibility that Spears have been partying the night before the performance and she’s indulging herself to addiction once more. Despite her many court rulings and pleads from her fans globally, Spears remained unmindful of the consequences. What is more dangerous is that she is putting her two sons in front of the media criticisms whenever she carries them.

Inappropriate drug and alcohol abuse are two main reasons why Spears leads the kind of life she has these days. Not that she lacks the support from her family, from friends and fans. She is living a great life and is expected to lead fuller with her sons. However, the result of substance and alcohol abuse is one strong blow of self-destruction.

Knowing that she is not the only successful person who fell into destruction when alcohol abuse and substance use became a part of her daily habits, Spears don’t mind being lined up to those celebrities who’s lives were torn apart.
