My older brother and sister are drug addicts, my brother is behind bars in prison, and my sister just got sent to a program across the country. Three years ago when my brother was first started he had admitted to doing pills with my moms sister and my moms sister had denied it for years and years. About a month ago, my sister and aunt were arrested in a town about a half hour away that’s known for heroin. They were in a cvs parking lot and were being watched by undercover cops and my aunt was yanked out of the car with a needle in her arm and my three year old cousin was in the back seat. My aunt lost custody of her two kids. They didn’t go to jail, but a week my sister had admitted to using with my aunt AFTER they had gotten arrested. My aunt denied it all, and actually admitted to using one time after they had gotten arrested and my whole family besides me and my mother are in denial. They think that my aunt is a “recreational” heroin user. She’s only going to therapy, and everybody thinks that my aunt is telling the truth. Her therapist “proved” she’s not an addict. My mom an I are trying to convince the rest of the family that she has a problem but we have been disowned. As much as I hate my aunt, I don’t want my cousins to lose their mom, I need advice, any sort of advice..please

To bad, as long as she isn’t clean at all her kids should be taken to somebody, maybe to your family, but I’m not sure if this is the right thing to do because the whole family is almost addicted to drugs, so everybody is killing himself by hanging on the heroin needle or any other drug.
So I don’t see any way that your aunt will still together with her kids. That is one thing she should have thought prior to set a needle in her arm, so for me she has lost the control over herself, so she can’t get the control over her children, that has somebody else to do..
