I have really bad panic attacks and anxiety. At least once a week. I’ve tried various medications but none seem to help the problem. I’m looking for something to take if I feel anxious to prevent a panic attack, just as needed. Can you do that with Xanax or is it a drug you have to take everyday?

Xanax is an as needed drug. Some people take it every day.

Xanax will make you very sleepy at first, but it works very well. I use Xanax for anxiety. It will certainly calm you down.
