Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) January 12, 2006
Castle Arch Real Estate Investment of Beverly Hills, California this week contributed to the well-being of children in Tooele, Utah.
Receiving the donations were the Kiwanis Club’s “BabyCare Cupboard” that is located at the Tooele Community Action Program (C.A.P.) facility and Drug Abuse Resistance Education (“D.A.R.E.”), a program that is provided by local law enforcement agencies in Tooele-area schools. Each organization received $ 1,000.
Castle Arch Real Estate is a land development company with operations in several states, including an early-stage residential project in Tooele County, Utah, the site of the beneficiaries of this week’s contributions.
“We are pleased to provide help to Tooele’s BabyCare Cupboard and D.A.R.E. programs at this holiday season,” said Kirby Cochran, chairman and CEO of Castle Arch Real Estate. “We like to contribute to the strength and well being of the communities that we are working to help develop. We are privileged to recognize these two programs that make important contributions to the lives and health of infants and young people in Tooele County.”
The “BabyCare Cupboard” is chaired by Joyce Hogan of the Kiwanis Club and provides important items such as baby formula, diapers, baby food and other baby care items to needy families.
The Kiwanis Club also sponsors the D.A.R.E. program which involves officers from the Tooele County Sheriff, Grantsville and Tooele police departments in teaching students in public schools how to recognize and avoid drug abuse.
“On behalf of the D.A.R.E. program and the BabyCare Cupboard, I express gratitude to Castle Arch for their support of these two important community resources,” remarked Vicki Griffith, President of the Tooele Valley Kiwanis, who raises money for the two programs. “We appreciate Castle Arch for being a positive influence in our community.”
