Communities for Recovery

Communities For Recovery is a non-profit that provides volunteer peer support services to clients of treatment centers and to persons from the general public in Austin Texas. We work specifically with people suffering from alcoholism, chemical addiction and with those who have both an addiction and a mental disorder (dual diagnosis). Our Peer Support Volunteers carry the message of sobriety to other addicted persons by providing a bridge between professional treatment and ongoing peer support through our accelerated 12 step models of recovery.
