I was very recently busted for possession and have court ordered drug testing, I’ve heard that it takes 40 days for marijuana to leave your system if you were a heavy smoker, which i was. The problem is I took a piss test today, and have to take another in 13 days to “determine if I have a problem with drug abuse.” I have stopped smoking entirely and don’t want to lose my chance at a diversion, what am I supposed to do?

Stay clean and show up for testing when you’re supposed to, with no excuses. The people who administer and read the tests are well aware of how long the drug remains in your system.
