Curious About Mental Health,?

Question by porky: curious about mental health,?
When I was 12, I noticed I always cried and always had unexplained sadness. Once I turned 14, I was diagnosed with borderline personality and a severe case of depression. I’m currently 16, and I’ve had a past of using marijuana and abusing xanax.Just the past month, I’ve been attending AA meetings and going to IOP rehab meetings, but I noticed that I’ve been sad still, And when I go to sleep I get paranoid and convince myself there is people watching me or is in my room. I’ve been feeling somewhat suicidal, and I keep thinking about dying. When i sleep, It’s about 12 hours a day, and I have crazy dreams about dying, Or getting open heart surgery while I’m still conscience. Sometimes when i’m layingdown, I feel like there’s peopletalking to me, but When I listen, Nothings there. Or I think I see things in the corner of my eyes, but nothings there, and it scares the heck out of me. I barely touch my phone anymore, and when People call or text, I completely ignore it because I think they hate me and it’s some kind of gimick. I also noticed that when I’m in class, We’ll have a lecture and I’ll give it my full attention, but when we get a worksheet on it, I can’t remember Anything it said. Or when I’m having a conversation with somebody, I can’t recap what they’re saying.
Somebody told me that I have early signs of schizophrenia, And that it sometimes doesn’t show until you’re an adult, And I was just wondering if it’s true, or if there’s something else wrong ?
Can I ask what’s some early symptoms of schizophrenia, and if I was going through beginning stages, what kind it could be?

i suffer from several forms of mental illness and it is my opinion that you suffer from the beginning stages of schizophrenia. if left untreated it will only get worse. you need to go see a psychiatrist for a professional diagnosis and possible treatment (medications). you don’t want to wait until you are my age and it is harder to control. ( i am 55 years young and have had it since i was about 11 or 12).
