Question by Ms Penny Lane is In My Tree: Didn’t we all see this coming on OLTL?
The whole Marty and Cole story-line has been driving me nuts for months. Nora now blames Cole for Matthew. However, isn’t Nora Cole’s guardian? Why wasn’t she keeping a closer eye on him? I have just been baffled at how Marty and Cole’s “loved ones” have just been letting both of them come and go as they please, knowing both of them were under great distress. Also, who else is sick of Starr throwing herself at her teacher?
True Mish, although I like Nora, she’s been too tied up in Clint to give Cole the attention he needed (she signed up for that responsibility when she invited him into her home). Marty’s just been allowed to run around like a crazy woman, somebody should have been getting her the correct help she needs.
LOL, Pat, I know what you’re talking about with Starr’s “overacting” that’s been bugging me too. Also, I actually understand Nora’s position on wanting to punish Cole, I just think if she had been doing her job to start with, the whole accident could have been avoided. (but than we wouldn’t have soap drama,lol)

Nora’s got a holier-than-thou attitude. Of course she’s not going to blame herself. As for Starr and Mr. Joplin, I find that whole story line absurd.
