THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has urged local government units in Eastern Visayas to strengthen the implementation of their Anti-Drug Abuse Council (Adac) which gives priority to preventive or educational program, rehabilitation or treatment of drug dependents.

Florida task force releases final report on 'epidemic' of newborns addicted to drugs

The Statewide Task Force on Prescription Drug Abuse & Newborns, chaired by Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, released its final report on Monday, laying the groundwork for a “holistic approach” to the “epidemic” of babies born addicted to pain-killing medication.
