Fans Pay Tribute to Elvis at Concert
Hundreds of Elvis Presley fans traveled to Memphis on Thursday (August 16) to pay tribute to the star on the anniversary of his death. It has been 35 years since the “King of Rock and Roll” passed away on August 16, 1977. The concert featured a live orchestra playing, with archival video of Elvis projected onto a giant screen. Presley’s ex-wife Priscilla and daughter Lisa Marie Presley were among the special guests. Following a recorded duet with her father, Lisa Marie addressed the crowd, thanking the fans for their love and support.
