The baby boy of an large Italian family, Anthony works in the family pizzeria. However, before he begins his 12-hour shift, he takes methadone. His nights see him using crack and cocaine. Hospitalized three times for collapsed veins, due to shooting drugs, he is starting to loose feeling in one hand. Soon, he may loose his friends, his family, and his life.
When he was 14, Anthony’s sister died of a heroin overdose. To cope with the loss, he started taking cocaine. That experimentation saw a one-time baseball scholarship recipient turn into a junkie. The Marine Corps is synonymous with discipline and control. Former Marine, Ricky clearly has an out of control heroin addiction that spans a decade. Once a star athlete and honor student, he has locked himself away in his family’s basement, shooting heroin up to five times a day. Though he recognizes the problems that his addiction has caused, he is unable to stop himself. Will a family intervention get him back to realizing his lost potential?
