I have been dealing with sleep paralysis and nightmares for more than 5 years now. The nightmares started when I was in middle school. I did not really watch scary movies then and I don’t really now. I try my best to not give those things attention or interest because I’m christian. So I’ve had a lot of experiences with very weird, vivid, symbolic dreams that I’m not to sure what they mean. I’ve seen demons and weird places and many times feel that i’m not myself in the dreams. Sometimes I’m another woman or even a man. I can recall dreams from the past in my dreams and tell them aloud to the people i am around in that particular dream. During sleep paralysis I have seen and heard creatures. I know all about the science behind Sleep Paralysis but what I can’t explain is how people who are close to me are now riddled with the syndrome and nightmares themselves of demons… Two of them being agnostic and with absolutely no belief in the supernatural but now question their beliefs because of their experiences now. I have had “divine interventions” with God. I won’t share them here because there are too many to list. Some of my dreams have come true. Lately In my dreams i’ve been seeing a demon smiling when i look in the mirror. Having not really discussed these recent dreams with him, my boyfriend came over and was taking a nap… he started gasping and choking for air. When he woke up he told me he dreamed I got out of bed and in the mirror he saw two of me, terrified he looked at the two of me, one turning back and giving an evil smile at him. This is when he woke up. Last night he got sleep paralysis again and so did my 8 yr old brother. My little brother told my mom that he woke up and saw a black figure sitting on his old brothers bed. He couldn’t stop staring and was really afraid but couldn’t speak, his voice was really low. My mom has had enough of this i guess and wants to do something but I don’t know what to do, frankly because I don’t know what this is. If I could get some answers from people who have dealt with this before…. I would appreciate it or just and opinion… Is this somewhat normal? Has anyone else gone through this. My brother calls me bad luck and I do certainly feel like a freak with all of the things i’ve been though and have seen.
