Fall River drug summit set for Saturday
It’s no secret that the city of Fall River, like many communities around the country, is gripped by substance abuse. And Saturday, a conversation will start on how to battle the disease locally. A drug summit will convene on Saturday at Morton Middle School, 367 President Ave., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by U.S. Rep. William Keating and Mayor Will Flanagan.
