The most commen things people are addicted to & abuse are Drugs ,wether perscription or illegal, & alcohal. Caffine is also a commen adiction. sometimes people can get addicted unwillingly to actions & behaviors such as cutting their wrists. What other substances or behavoirs , usaully mood or emotion altering, are adictive , being abused & cause health risks?
(I already know about shopping, gambling, sex addiction ect but I would like to know about really health threatining ones such as drugs. Thanks)

Are you trying to ask what different types of drugs people abuse?
Commonly abused stimulants, which in general cause a highly excited and happy state, include cocaine, ecstacy, amphetamines and methamphetamines, and nicotine (tobacco) and caffeine.
Commonly abused depressants, which in general cause a zoning-out type euphoria, include alcohol, opiates (heroin, morphine, oxycodone, hydromorphone, etc etc. – stuff derived from the opium poppy), benzodiazepines (tranquilizing drugs), barbiturates (same effect as benzos), buprenorphine, methadone, etc etc etc etc etc. But there are the most common ones.
Commonly abused hallucinogens, which cause (surprise) hallucinations and “mind-expanding experiences” include marijuana, LSD, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), salvia, amongst many other plants.
Hallucinogens are usually not addictive though, because they don’t make you feel good, they just provide interesting experiences. No one has a shitty day and goes home to take LSD, but people use depressants and stimulants to make them feel good and escape from problems, and that’s usually the start of addiction.
