How Do You Deal With Mediocre Answers on Yahoo Answers?
Question by the internet is my wife: how do you deal with mediocre answers on yahoo answers?
now i know you can thumbs down them but what if they’re the only answer and you still get points for answering which upsets me because i hate those answers that simply say, ‘crack open a textbook’ or ‘why don’t you google it’ or ‘i don’t know lol’.
how else can one deal with answers like that?

The following are some common ways people attempt to point-game or place-hold:
•Answering questions with only “Thanks for the two points”, “Pick me as best”, “IDK” (I don’t know), “Do a search”, etc., without including a legitimate answer.
