How Much Can One Make on Welfare, Unemployment, Etc… if They Don’t Work for 5 Years by Choice?
Question by Adamsman: How much can one make on welfare, unemployment, etc… if they don’t work for 5 years by choice?
The person I am asking this because of (not myself) has anxiety, Bipolar, and alcoholism and he works obsessively. There is not risk if he doesn’t work for 5 years that he will get lazy and so I was going to suggest this to his father. The person is early 30’s. I am sure the father would pitch in some but I am wondering the amount that could be made. He needs to get help now before it gets worse as this has been since he was a teenager and he is the kind of person who would not hurt a soul but when anxious has to hurt himself emotionally or get drunk. When drunk he is super nice. He also has some Bipolar but I think that comes with the alcoholism and the anxiety is the real issue.
