I Always Shake My Leg Because of Stress?

Question by La morte è bella: I always shake my leg because of stress?
I’ve gotten into this nervous habit of shaking my leg every time I sit down. I don’t feel stressed, but I know that shaking your leg is like a main sign of stress and I just cant stop it.
I am starting school soon and I am nervous about that and theres been a lot of drama with my friends recently but I dont think that is the cause. Can you tell me anything I can do to stop this constant shaking and can you give me any tips on how to relax a little? Thanks
I find it uncontrolabe if i just cross my legs at the ankle. it just cant stop

Stress can arise for a variety of reasons. Any change in our lives can be stressful. In dealing with stress, the lifestyle needs a complete overhaul. We should be placed on an optimum diet, and take regular exercise and adequate rest. Check out http://sumiram2006-stressfree.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Relaxation comes from you removing the stress in your life or moving beyond its reaches. The stress of a new school and your friends can be challenging however you have the power to control you and how you will react to your friends negativity.

Try doing deep breathing exercises and thinking of good things that please you. Don’t react to every negative that is said to you or try to prove yourself. Make your statement and move on. While sitting down, cross your legs at the ankle and this should remind you of your shaking so that you will stop.

Remove yourself to a quiet place and read books that please you and put on music that restores you and if you’re religious, pray – prayer always works.
